LeRoy Neiman Art Center

History

Through a generous grant from the renowned artist, LeRoy Neiman, Arts Horizons established the LeRoy Neiman Art Center to create a community-based arts center, serving young people and families in need. The Center opened its doors to the public in June 2008 and has grown into an integral cultural resource in the Harlem community.

The LeRoy Neiman Art Center includes a 2000 square foot gallery space and rear workshop area, where quality arts experiences in daytime, after-school and Saturday programs for all ages are offered.  June 2015 marked its seventh year of operations, making significant strides in reaching its programmatic goals while serving approximately 2,000 individuals annually.

The Center’s ongoing programs and activities are made possible though the on-going support of the LeRoy Neiman Foundation as well as other foundations, corporations and individuals.
